Spinning Wheels

>I'm interested in sites, or other resources, for making spinning wheels. I'm interested in stuff that is spinning driven, rather than just stuff a woodworker would want to build. My wife wants a wheel, but isn't an expert on the subject, so what I need is plans or info for real useable wheels. I have one book on making wheels, and a few spinning books.

A lot of the traditional wheels don't really spin modern yarns. I could design my own between the plans in one book, the specifications of modern wheels, but if someone has already done the work... While my emphasis is obviously wood, turning, or green wood techniques, I'm open to PVC, metal, or bubblegum wheels if they get her spinning while I work on a wooden one. I'm only interested in making, not buying.
