Subject:
The Not So Mighty Amazon *PIC*

Jim King
>This is a photo of the Mighty Amazon River this week in front of Iquitos, Peru. It is at historic lows which doesn’t mean much as the records go back only about a hundred years. In three months that little creek out there will be 45 feet deep and several miles wide covering what now looks like high land at the top of the photo. This is definitely not a turning but thought you all may be interested. We have been unable to make our regular shipments to the States as the ocean going ships that service us 2500 miles up the Amazon from the Atlantic have not been able to get here for a couple of months.
