Subject:
Stonghold v. Talon

Georg Waldhof
>I have an old (1972) Oliver 2159 lathe which officially has a 14" swing. I'm looking at getting a Oneway jaw chuck and wonder whether the Stronghold or Talon by Oneway would be best. Their website indicates that the Talon is best for lathes under a 16" swing, but since this machine can do substantial outboard turnings, I'm wondering if the Stronghold might be a better bet.

Suggestions? Comments from experience?

Thanks

Georg
