>I have the "B" model listed below. The pen gets so hot I cannot stand it even through a piece of foam and a thick glove.

Additionally, I think the thermostat/regulator is crappy. The temp drops off at random. I need to let the unit cool down and restart it to get the desired temp.

I'm definitely returning this unit, but I don't want to wind up in the same boat. My real question is - are all pens like this? Holy canoli, there is no way I can work with this one for more than a few minutes.

I see Dominic has a thread posted that will probably help, but it doesn't address this hot pen issue.
