Finding/buying cherry wood

RJ
>Hello all;

Well, I have been hunting down anywhere I could find cherry wood stock to start turning out some clock finials.

But, where I live everything is already processed and not much choice at all.

I live out in Summerfield Florida. Near big retirement community. So Ive checked all the lumber yards near here and not much luck.

The finials I plan to make should be arround 2 1/2 width to near 6 or 7 inches in length. They could even be wider and longer as I plan to do custom finials in future.

So I guess the best I could do is find large chunk and cut it accourding to need.

Besides ebay, any ideals of where I can get some wood like this would be apreciated.
