Miniature Hollowing Tools

Jennifer@Indy.USA
>For Scott and Carole...or whoever else cares...here are couple of pictures of the two tools that I use to hollow most of the miniatures that I make. One is made from square bar stock and has a HSS tip silver soldered (rather crudly I might add) to it, the other is just an allen wrench bent and ground and glued into a little handle.

No rocket science involed :)

I find it easiest to sharpen these on a belt sander by holding them at the correct angle to get a fresh edge. I like to hold them on the belt in that soft spot just behind the guide roller when doing this.

Hope this might add to your arsenal of tools :)
