I have begun to start bowls between centers, to prepare them for a chuck.
Up to this point, I have not been able to see any advantage, for being able to move the blank around. I've heard folks speak of this, but, have never seen it done.
If you have it centered when you begin, then, if you move it around, it will no longer be centered, to cause vibration.
So, can somebody explain the advantages of being able to move a blank around in between centers?
