1920 Model Saw *PIC*

Jim King
>We got an order for a good amount of thin boards and could not find a saw that would cut the dense woods and did not have time to order a saw from the States to arrive by ship. Result was a bit of turning and laminating wood together to make this antique saw. Bolted on a 25 HP motor and in the thin board business. The three belt pully was turned also out of melted down beer cans and whatever aluminum we could find. The rollers were all turned out of bloodwood and purple heart inset into cumaru boards using wax as bearings. Works like a charm. With the motor mounted it takes 10 men to move it.
