>These are the bowls made from the Ponderosa Pine from Mt Lemon in Tucson. They started out with checking from setting on the ground for a year or two. They were boiled for ~6 hours and during drying developed significant mold. Soaked them in 50-50 solution of chlorine bleach for a day and then allowed them to dry for ~ 3 weeks. Finish is 4 coats of Watco, then Beall.
