Question on CA Solvent

Barry Irby
>I have managed to get CA solvent on my watch, my glasses (plastic lenses) and my face shield. I have learned the hard way that it will spray everywhere even after you hit it with the accelerator.

Does any one know if the solvent will remove it without hurting the plastic its stuck to?

I have a bottle of the solvent, but have been saving it for an emergency. Such as, in case I glue my hand to a turning, again. (I keep it within arm's length of the lathe, for obvious reasons.)

IF it will work, if it worth it? A new "Lense" for the face shield might be cheaper than the whole bottle of release agent.
