Some new stuff - 3 pieces *PIC*

Mike Schwing from Md.
>First, a wild cherry crotch. I was going to cut this up and make a regular bowl out of it but the reds just underneath the bark were too good to toss. They even stayed this color after drying. This is rather large and heavy at 19" tall, it just barely swung on my lathe. Finished with hand applied lacquer, rubbed to a nice sheen with Liberon wool. Headed to a gallery in Maine.

Comments welcome. (even I think this would have made a nice clock, and I generally think its a travesty to make clocks out of things like this)
