Subject:
Fay & Eagan lathe?

Keith Newton
>I l have a friend who ask me about helping find or build a big lathe. I have a big casting that I thought he would take, and a friend with a machine shop to doe the rest, but he called me today and said he had bought a Fay & Eagan, sight-unseen 250 miles away, but was assured that it was a hoss.

I know they were known to manufacture fine industrial machines, but I don't know how recently. The only thing I have been able to find were really old flat-belt machines at the old woodworking tool site. Do any of you know about any of them.
