moving

>I've just sold my home and am planning to move my tools and other equipment into an unheated, unfinished shop I started some time back. We will eventually be building a house on that same property. The winters here in NE Ohio can be brutal and I am concerned with rusting.

What would be the best way to store the tools. Should I coat the exposed metal parts with some kind of a rust inhibitor, should I cover them with blankets, or should I just let them "weather" without any protection.

Joe

I am looking to use them periodically so I really don't want to smear some kind of goop all over them that would require removing prior to use. I assume, therefore, that some kind of covering would be best. Any suggestions??
