Subject:
Katrina Relief Update

>Hello,

This is Terry's son Mitch. Dad just called and told me to post an update on WoodCentral:

Contrary to the news media, much help is needed in clean up efforts. The staging area for cleanup in Biloxi and Pascagoula,Mississippi is located in Grand Bay, Alabama, which is 4 miles from the state line.

The Red Cross is providing food and water. They can accomodate busloads of volunteers. Volunteers are staying in a church gymnasium which has warm showers. Volunteers would need to bring: air matress, blanket, pillow, hammers, and crowbars. Chainsaws would also be much needed.

The Red Cross is not doing work on peoples' houses. Volunteers are needed for ripping out drywall and insulation, and for doing chainsaw work.

If you can help with the relief effort, please contact Friendship Baptist Church at 334-865-4724.

Thanks,

Mitch Daniel
