Subject:
Danger, Danger, Warning Will Robinson

John Lucas
>I have always thrown out my dust collector dust. Today I was burning limbs and yard junk along with the shavings from my latest turnings. I decided while I was doing that to dump the dust collector dust onto the fire. It's like throwing gun powder on a fire. It burst into a huge fireball and ran up toward the bag. I tossed it on the ground and stomped it out before any damage was done, other than to my pride of course. I spent the next half hour playing like a kid throwing handfuls of dust on the fire and watching it burst into flames. It was fun but I felt like I should warn others who have never tried this. It could be very dangerous.
