BLACK WOOD COVERED POT *PIC*

Jim King
>Every year when the river goes down we go to some tributaries to see what kind of old sunken woods we can find. Last week we found several trees that are black. I have no idea if the tree grows this way or if 50 or a 100 years in the acid water turned it this color. The wood is very hard. This year the Amazon is the lowest in this area that it has been in recorded history. 400,000 people in town without city water. The covered pot is 5 inches in dia. x 10 inches tall.
