Golden bowl *PIC*

>Small cherry bowl, about 5" or so. Random cuts in the rim done with a small saw, textured with my Dremel, stained ( yes I used the S word here) with an Antique English stain, then given gold leafing inside. Not the real gold, but the affordable kind.

I think the gold really sets a nice contrast from the outside texture as well as the inner colorings, while the cuts make this appear to have a ceremonial function.

Yes I am slowly developing a direction in which to take my works. Enjoy!
