Bugs!

>Help!. Powder post beetles seem to have invaded my pile of to-be-turned wood. (I see several little piles of sawdust under the logs). How do I get rid of the little buggers? I've tried cooking the logs in the oven (200 degrees for an hour), and that seems to work, but a lot of the wood splits. Would soaking the wood in denatured alcohol (a la Dave Smith's method for drying bowls) work? Any other suggestions? My shop is in my basement, and I hate to bring infested wood inside my house. Thanks.
