Is this firewood? *PIC*

>Black cherry that has a crack following the grain that runs about two thirds the way around the bottom. I have CAed it, but I am wondering if I am wasting my time or if I am taking a big chance on this thing flying apart when I chuck it up. Should I just toss it, or do you guys and gals go ahead and try to finish stuff like this? My instincts are telling me to toss it, but I have another bowl made from this cherry and it is beautiful when it is finished. It has some nice figure that doesn't show in the pics.
