Subject:
Allergy to Norfolk Island Pine?

Mark Kauder, Phenix City, AL
>In KC, on of our club members won a silent auction of a big log of Norfolk Island Pine (nine limbs/knots all it a row around it).

I volunteered to take it home in my truck, since he flew.

I carried it out to my truck. A day of so later, the insides of my forarms, where they were in contact with the wood, began to itch. It lasted about 10-14 days.

This last Friday Night, I loaded the log back in my truck to take it to him at our club meeting, and within 24 hours, I was itching again.

I don't know if it is an allergy or something like chiggers. The itching areas are little tiny bumps.

Just wondering.
