Anyway, this is a tall black cherry bowl, about 12" wide x 10" tall. I made it very egg shaped, but the narrow end of the egg unlike Bill Neddow's fabulous egg shaped bowls which are generally much wider eggs, modeled I figure on the fat side of an egg. I debated putting a lip or decoration on the rim and decided to simply roll it in. Since this will be a display piece I figured a tiny little raised foot would set it off the table nicely. Not an easy form to work with! Just a tiny bit off and the egg illusion disappears totally. Sanded to 4000 with abralon discs and then waxed. All comments welcomed. Please feel free to critique.
