Subject:
Gone horribly wrong *PIC*

Mike Schwing from Md.
>Somehow I am, apparently, totally unable to create an "abstract" form. I had this drawn on paper as a flowing form that only slightly resembled something from the sea. However, it took on a life of its own and now I don't know what the hell it is.

Silver maple, shaped with rotary and hand tools, hand sanded to 4000 abralon (great stuff!) and waxed. (no turning involved but was carved within 2 feet of my lathe) About 14-15" long I guess. I'm debating whether to put 2 tiny little taxidermy eyes up front.

Comments welcomed. I just can't make normal things anymore. I must have a tumor or something.
