A New Pen For Me, pics

Jim Shaver - Oakville, Ontario
>Hello,

I got out in the shop tonight and organized wood for three projects, looking around after moving 200 board feet of wood I decided to turn a couple of pens.

These two pens are the first Ligero’s I have made, both turned tonight.

This pen is a roller ball with a blue stabilized box elder burl blank, the hardware is 10k gold

This pen is a platinum fountain pen made with a green stabilized box elder burl.

The finish on both pens is a simple sanding with micro mesh to 12,000 then polished with a plastic scratch remover polish.

These pens were simple to make, the kits are easy to assemble.
Thanks for viewing,

Take care,
Jim
