Subject:
Cottonwood Crotch Vessel *PIC*

Ben Aragon
>This is the second of two pieces of Cottonwood crotch wood that I’ve turned. This vessel is 12 inches in diameter by 6-1/2 inches tall and 1/4 inch thick. The finish is a tung oil mixture, 3 coats hand rubbed. I enjoy turning cottonwood, it cuts pretty easy but smells a little funny. The first piece I carved and did some pyrography work on. I’m thinking of doing something similar to this piece. What do you think, comments welcome.
Best Regards,
Ben
