Subject:
Musing about Bullshit

>Probably many of you have read this clearly written and thought provoking little book, "ON Bullshit" by H.G. Frankfurt, Princeton Univ. Press. If not, consider buying ($5 to $10, used or new) or borrowing a copy. It is an easy read, but you'll gain by rereading. I think Frankfurt's philosophy is pertinent and _on topic for many turners who post to turning forums, especially pg. 20-24. I'd like to share my copy with friends, but I want to keep it for a while. It won't make me a better turner, but, IMO it wlll make me better able to recognize the better turners. :)

I won't take umbrage whether you agree or disagree, YMMV, but I'd sure like to know your take about this essay.
