>Far from done but the shpa is what i am questioning. Do not try to guess the wood, it is alabaster stone. I should have mention the base needs to be, and will be smaller. I left it this wide because of all the hard defects in this type of stone. Don't want to chance snapping it off while hollowing it out.
The widest area is about 1/3 down fron the curved area near the top instead of from the overall size of the piece. I guess this is what I am questioning. Should I change the shape and go 1/3 from the top or bottom ( overall size) when doing this type of shape?
