>I have just returned from Prov, UT after completing the 5 day Richard Raffan workshop. Great instructer/demonstrator, good crew on the course including a few characters and a course "elder" (85 yr young Dr. Wei). Richard is as skilled, and quick, with tools, especially the skew, in person as he is on his videos. Plenty of Antipodean/English humour and down-to-earth tips and advice. He was very ably assisted by a young frenchman Benoit Averly (sp) who has only been turning 3 years but IMHO will become a prominent figure in woodturning.
Only downside was Delta managed to lose both my bags on the return flight!

P.S. tried to post this twice last night, 1st time my comp. froze 2nd time we had a power cut 9Not unusual here)
