RingMaster

>RingMaster

I have the chance to buy a used Ringmaster (variable speed) for $250. It looks like I could make the same rings on my metal lathe. The only advantage is the RM cuts rings from both sides of the board so there is no tear out.

I would only use it to make decorative rings for the tops of vessels. The bowls this guy made looked primitive and I did really care for them. I’m sure a RM expert could make some beautiful bowls.

Is this worth the investment or should I just use my metal lathe?
Best Wishes,
Ben
