Drying question *PIC*

>This is a piece of cherry burl roughed in to a hollow form. It will be about 8 1/2" tall by 5 1/2" dia. not counting the mounting base. It is about 1" thick right now. Soaked in alcohol 12 hors then baged. Left outside to get rid of most of the smell then brought in this evening tp put in basement to dry.

My problem is I do not have a scale to weigh this piece, my scale only goes to 5 pounds. How long can I expect this piece to take to dry? I sure would hate to lose this one.
