Subject:
after alcohol soak?

Ed Kelle
>I've read the alcohol drying article and am trying it for the first time. As far as I understand, after removing them and letting them air dry for an hour, I wrap the outsides with brown bags and tape that to the rims? Am I supposed to fold the bags up a bit to get a good tight seal? I have 4 cherry bowls soaking right now, about 7" a probably a little thicker than the recommended 1/2" thickness.

I have not done any hollow vessels before, and since I have green wood, am I supposed to rough turn hollow vessels and then use the same drying process?

Any other insights would really be appreciated. Thanks
