Stampede! *PIC*

Molly Winton
>Camphor with branding and pyrography. 6"x3 1/2", finished with Danish oil and arborwax. This was a challenge for me. In order to have the mustangs all heading in the same direction to look as if they were going around the hollowing hole I had to draw one side with the horses heading in the opposite direction I normally draw them. This may seem an easy task, but for a drawing impaired person such as myself I had trained myself in only one direction. My practice drawing journal page is full of very ugly horses heading east, but I finally got it. Practice, practice, practice! The branding line follows the heart wood. The sapwood on this piece was a very ugly dull grey, so I branded it.
