Walnut Hollowform *PIC*

>Here is the latest walnut hollowform. The guy I got the wood from said it is black walnut but I'm not sure.

It is 12.5 inches wide by 4.5 inches high not counting the finial. I had trouble making a finial that seemed to "fit" the shape. The collar is maple dyed with India ink and the finial is Ebony. It is sanded to 12,000 micromesh and finished with 5 coats of Formby's tung oil and Mylands High Friction Polish. The walls are between 1/8 and 3/16" thick.

This one is a little larger than the last one and more oval in shape viewed from the side.

Comments and critiques are welcome.
