Subject:
Turning and CA Glue, A tool?

Jim Shaver Oakville, Ont.
>Hi,

I was at my woodturning club tonight for one of of our meetings. It was funny, but in about 4 conversations I had tonight I listened while the other person spoke about some aspect of turning and how they used CA glue for this and that. I started to think to myself that this was indeed a curious thing.

I have also been watching more turning video's lately and many times the demonstrator will use CA to solve a problem or rescue a piece on the lathe....where would we be without CA glue??

:-)

Anyway, I know that I use it extensively in my pen turning, from gluing tubes to saving chip outs to the final finish.

I guess I was curious, how important is CA glue to you in your turning work?? Would you consider it an essential turning "tool" in your work??

Thanks,

Take care,
Jim
