Subject:
Mesquite Bowl *PIC*

>I got a nice Mesquite blank from Dave Smith. It arrived 2 days after ordering all the way across country from Washington to NJ.
This is the first I've turned mesquite. I like the way it turns and finishes.
Sanded to 12,000 micromesh then finished with Mylands Friction Polish. Its just over 6 inched wide, 2 1/2 high and 3/8" thick.

My son looked at the inside pattern and said "End of the World" bowl. It does look like a mushroom cloud.

Comments and critique welcomed,
Tom
