Subject:
Just Some Bottle Stoppers *PIC*

TomW In SouthJersey
>I've been turning a lot of wine stoppers in between other items. Here are four recent ones. Two that I spent too much time on to make the worthwhile for selling.
Left to right:
Rosewood with Maple, Canary (lots of red stain that comes off with polishing), Bloodwood, Ambrosia Maple with goldleaf and CA to fill the voids.
Rosewood sure is pretty. All are sanded to 12,000 and finished with Mylands friction polish.

I've made over 35 stoppers recently and it has finally helped me to learn to use the Sorby Spindlemaster I thought I had wasted money on.
