Subject:
Black cherry salad bowl *PIC*

Mike Schwing from Md.
>This is a black cherry salad bowl, (or whatever bowl), 14" wide at the rim, from a tree that blew over just down from my house. Sanded to 320 and given two coats of Mahoney's Walnut oil. It'll get a coat of wax but no buffing as I know this'll go straight to food use by the new owner. Not sure I'm in love with the rim treatment, makes the bowl look a bit "thick". Your comments welcomed, good/bad/whatever encouraged, and thanked.
