Subject:
electric chainsaw choice

Dennis Taylor
>I am wanting a chainsaw, I do not think I will be felling tree's in the woods, but mostly cutting up pieces that I am given or pick up. I have looked at a few electric saw, Sear's and Lowes, can anyone comment on electric saws and maybe a good one. They say 3.5hp, not sure that is accurate. most pieces will be 10-11 inches in diameter I would guess, is electric my best bet?..I don't want to spend 200 to 300 on a occassional use saw, just want to be able to make a log into bowl/platter blanks. Thanks in advance...Dennis
