>Eyepod number 2. Maple burl, turned, for whatever reason, it actually did start as a turning, carved, colored maple burl. Not an easy wood to carve, but worth it in the long run. Transparent and opaque airbrush colors, matte and glossy finishes where apparent. I cannot yet make round painted eyes, so they all have serpent like looks to them. It just takes more skill than I have right now.

This is about 6" long I guess. All comments welcomed, and thanks for looking.
