>To tell you the truth I never cared for natural edge work. It always look unfinished to me. Then recently I had the opportunity to look at a small turning of maple burl with a natural edge. It was like turning on a light switch "so this is what the fuss is all about"

I turned this green to finish. Natural forces warped and twisted it in ways I didn't expect, only slightly, but enough to give it interest. Some areas became bumpy, others remained smooth. I'm happy with this.

I'm interested to hear what you folks think, if you hate it please say so! Thanks!
