>An interesting thread is running that we all need to weigh in on: "Should vendor participation in a regional or national show be on a first-come, first served basis or should there be restrictions to limit competition for some vendors?" There seem to be 2 thoughts: Let the vendor make money and he'll come back next year; accept vendors on a firstcome, first served basis and let market competition take its toll. Many of us go to an event to see all the new tools and wood more than to see a demo while others are there to see the demos. How important are the vendor spaces to you? As long as the contents of the booth are turning related should there be restrictions? Should the vendors have to itemize what they will have in their booths in advance of the show? Should a viable vendor be turned away simply because "someone else already has a booth selling sandpaper"? Join us tonight at 9:30p eastern with your thoughts. We'll start gathering about 9pm for greetings and misc.
