Subject:
protection from dust?

ken chase
>I spent most of the day turning dry wood wearing a dust mask and using my dust collector. I've read much about air filtration helmets on this board but it seems to me an OSHA approved mask and the collector with perhaps a fan behind the turner is protection enough. When I blew my nose afterward there were no traces of dust. If I'm mistaken in this view please tell me and explain why. I just don't think I'll be happy wearing a helmet all day.
Thanks
