>Black Cherry spoon, about 14" long. Just thought I'd try something carved to learn how to use my new Foredom. What a nice tool! This was a fun challenge, and not as easy as I'd have thought. First drew out my design on the blank, top and bottom views, then bandsawed it out in one plane. Then stuck the offcuts back on with double sided tape and cut out the other profile. The rest was done with various rotary bits. Finished with walnut oil and beeswax. Will be a gift (today in fact) for my mother-in-law's birthday. Comments welcomed. Thanks for lookin'.
