>My Wife is not going with me this year to the AAW National Symposium in Overland Park, KS. She would rather use her vacation time to go the a needle point class - go figure.
Anyway, in this time of high gas prices, I am looking to see if anyone along my way is interested in sharing my ride. I have a Ford F-150 extended cab. I can haul stuff in it (within reason).
Current intent is to leave Columbus, GA area early Wed, 21 Jul. My route can either go via Atlanta, Chatanooga, Nashville, OR Montgomery, Birmingham, Nasville. Slight deviations to off that route to pick you up is certainly possible. Then to St. Louis and Overland Park. I will be overnighting on the way there in Benton, IL (see and old Army friend). Return day/time is negotible.
I already have arranged a roommate there in Overland Park, but as long as someone riding with me is staying somewhere close to where I am staying, I will happily drive them to and from the symposium, etc.
I know it is a way off, but I want to lock things in early.
Email me if interested.
