Pecan Bowl - *PIC*

TomW in SouthJersey
>I just finished a pecan bowl. It is 7 inches by 2 inched high. This is the small piece from a nice chunk of wood from Bill Grumbine (thanks Bill). What great wood to work with! I have two larger pieces still drying. This was my first attempt at DNA drying and green wood turning.
It is sanded to 4000 micro mesh and finished with Shellawax liquid. Its the first time I used that finish and I like it so far. Especially on finely sanded pieces. It came out smooth as glass. I can't seem to get the depth of field quite right on this digital camera.
Comments welcome.
