Subject:
Oneway 1640 vs 2036

>I am now finally about to purchase my "last" lathe and have decided on the above two lathes. Main interests are spindle turning, hollow forms and bowls. I am strongly leaning to the 1640 with the 2HP motor which presents ~$2000 savings over the 2036 with the same motor which will pay for all the toys I want/need to purchase with the lathe.
I am not hung up on 16" vs 20" swing I think 16" will cover much or all of what I will do and one can add the outboard attachment.
My question is is the 2036 really worth the difference and if so why. Thanks for reading and I appreciate any feedback you may have.
