I ruined the first three legs (expected) I did the next 14 with a lot of work. 22" long about a half hour each. When i did the 15th it was like something happened. i did the thing in ten minutes. Same with the sixteenth. I was having trouble with whipping in the middle, and nothing just seemed to sound right. The first good four were yellow pine, the next were cherry, then the last 8 were curly maple. Trouble is I don't know what I did or what happened to make the last two go so easy. The only thing that might have been different on the last two that I know of was that they were running a little faster at roughing and finish. Could i have been running the others too slow 900/1500 rpm
