Subject:
What's your most discouraging moment

>Hi All,
Well, tonight I had a nice blank of green ash up on the Jet mini. It took a while roughing it out (and bending some tools while doing it). Then came the fun, shaping the outside of the bowl and very pleased with it. Next was hollowing out the inside and got the wall to about 1/8". Hey, this was the best bowl I've ever turned (actually only my second). Then I noticed that there was one small worm hole skirting the edge so I thought I would turn it away. I used a scraper and BAM the bowl went flying in pieces... good thing I was out of it's way. Man that was discouraging. I guess, better luck next time.
