Subject:
conversation with an artist

Mike Schwing from Md.
>"Why did you use Prismacolor markers on such a fine piece of work?"

"Well, woodturners aren't generally artists of the pen/pencil, and they seem to be the prevalent/preferred method for coloring our work."

"Wow, I never use those things, they fade to nothing in no time flat. In fact, you should use sunlight to see if you can fade those black marks you're worried about away to nothing."

"Well, I would if we ever had any sunlight around here"

"Seriously - you can draw on paper with them, set them outside, and they're almost as good as disappearing ink."
