Subject:
Pattern transfer method(s) ?

Mike Schwing from Md.
>I wish to transfer a rudimentary lizard/snakeskin like pattern to a three dimensional object as an underlayer for airbrushing over with transparent colors.

I'm not good enough with the airbrush to paint the pattern by hand. Had considered the possibility of using those nylon mesh bags for oranges as a pattern and spraying over/through it, but that will really give me the negative image of what I desire.

The object is 3D, so a press iron/heat transfer type of method will not work.

Can anyone think of a way to do this? Thanks.
