Maple Burl Bowl *PIC*

>I've been spending more time watching and learning here than I have actually posting. But I always look forward to seeing pictures of new work posted here, and thought that I should post one of my own.

This bowl is about 10 inches in diameter and not quite 2 inches thick, from a spalted maple burl. It's probably Western Big Leaf Maple, but I'm not positive. Sanded to 2400 and finished with several coats of oil (Minwax Antique Oil).
